Sassy and I were selected to ride in the USDF Adult Clinic Series in 2003 with Walter Zettl. The clinic was held in Dallas, Texas at Stargaze Farm. Sassy was a hit with the auditors. He is not usually what people believe a dressage horse should be. Mr. Zettl did say that his suppleness and ability to do lateral work is what you are looking for in a classically trained dressage horse. One Auditor commented on the fact that when Sassy first came in to the arena he was so "upside down" yet he finished the lesson the most relaxed nd supple of all the horses.

Sassy has taken me places I never thought I would be able to go with a little ole quarterhorse/paint. His work ethic and willingness to please have given me confidence in my ability to learn dressage. Sassy and I started out together about 7 yeards ago with neither of us knowing much about dressage. We have worked up the levels together and I earned my USDF Bronze Medal with him. I have won numerous medals and awards for the American Warmblood Association along with a Dover Medal at Second Level.

I feel that anyone interested in learning dressage from a patient and kind teacher this is the horse for you. He has gone to numerous clinics and I have always learned new things with him. Some of the clinicians I have worked with are Debbie Brown, Leif Sorenson, Christianne Bouchert, Isabell Judeau and Dorothy Maxfield. Below are several videos of Sassy.
