Fabulous prospect with world class bloodlines. Wonderful temperament and easy to handle. Lots of personality and presence. Comes from a long line of top sport horses who compete at the top levels. If you know bloodlines, look at her pedigree. There is nothing else out there like her. She has all of the bloodlines we love in our breeding program and they have all reached top levels in sport. FEI stallion Cum Laude (Apache, Pref. - Weltmeyer - Rubinstein I) was represented by two current year foals: 2023 colt ๐๐ช๐ญ๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐ and 2023 filly ๐๐ฌ๐๐ก๐๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐. Tuxedo ISF was also winner of the KWPN class, Colts of 2023 class, East Coast USDFBC Foal Champion, and Reserve Champion Foal. Twilight ISF finished third in the KWPN class, out of a Friesian mare. Very impressive results for these high scoring North American bred offspring!
Meghan deGaray, breeding manager at Iron Spring Farm , has this to say about Cum Laude's foals: "Theyโve had a great keuring season and now a great Dressage at Devon. His foals are friendly, have excellent temperaments and are very nice movers, which is what everyone wants when theyโre breeding."
Cum Laude is a wonderful combination of Dutch and German bloodlines. He is by the Grand Prix sensation Apache, Preferent, who competed at some of the biggest venues in the world, including Aachen, Rotterdam and the World Equestrian Games with Emmelie Scholtens. The pair finished 8th at the World Cup Finals in Gรถteborg with an 80.782% in the Freestyle. Apache was recognized for his superior movement, particularly the use of his hind leg.
Apache is equally well known as a tremendous sire. He is the sire of six Approved stallions: Cum Laude, Grand Galaxy Win, Hometown, Indian Rock, Improver VDT and Intro K. Heโs also the grandsire of three Approved stallions. Apacheโs daughters are equally spectacular, with 71% receiving a Star predicate or higher. Apache has numerous Grand Prix offspring, including Gio ridden by Charlotte Dujardin. The duo won five CDI3* and above Grand Prix classes with an 84.04% average in the Grand Prix Freestyle and 81.426% in the Grand Prix Special.
Cum Laude comes from a damline thatโs highly recognized for performance success. Two of his siblings sold for very high prices at the prestigious Prinsjesdag Auction. Cum Laudeโs dam is the Preferent/Prestatie mare Pacharel T. Sheโs by legendary Weltmeyer out of the Rubinstein I Keur/Prestatie mare Kacharel T. Weltmeyer and Rubinstein I are both prolific sires and damsires of dressage talent.Pacharel T had seven foals who competed in dressage, including two at the Prix St. Georges level and above.
